All ferries from Naxos to Santorini depart from the port of Naxos, which is situated on the western side of the island, in the capital town of Chora. As it is small in size, spotting your ferry is very easy.
All ferries bound for Santorini arrive at the island's main port of the island, which is known as Athinios Port.

Both islands are immensely popular with both Greeks and foreigners. The high number of visitors causes traffic within and around the harbor, so being there at least an hour earlier than your ferry’s scheduled departure time is strongly recommended.

Luggage policies in Greek ferries are quite flexible.
Most companies allow 40 kg or 0.5 cubic meters of luggage for each passenger and provide a luggage storage area on each ferry. Alternatively, you can take your luggage with you upstairs.
It is highly recommended to leave bulky suitcases in the designated area and take your personal belongings (wallet, mobile phone, keys, etc.) with you.

An additional ticket for your vehicle needs to be purchased ahead of time in order to travel by ferry with your car or motorbike.
You should be at the port 60-90 minutes before the official departure time.
For safety reasons, entering the garage while the ferry is sailing is not allowed.

Although there are airports on both islands, no direct flights are available between Naxos and Santorini, as the national airport of Naxos is small and only serves direct flights between Naxos and Athens. However, Santorini boasts an international airport that receives flights from several European cities.
